Christmas Appeal

Bury Hospice’s Christmas Appeal will help make the festive season an extra special one for our patients and their families.

For many people, Christmas is an exciting time to spend with loved ones but sadly, for some patients living with a life-limiting illness, it will be their last Christmas spent with their family.

At this special time of year we are asking for your support to help create magical memories for our patients and their loved ones.

As an independent charity, it costs £4.5m to run our services with 13% funding. The remainder is generated from our income generation streams and support from the community.

A donation of:

• £10 could pay for a Christmas bubble bath for a patient
• £20 could pay for a three-course Christmas dinner
• £30 could pay for a complementary therapy session for a patient or their loved one
• £40 could pay for a patient’s loved one to join them for Christmas dinner

Items on the wish list can be bought as a virtual gift on behalf of a family member or friend.

The Christmas Appeal is a seasonal way for people to donate money to the Hospice. We all get things for Christmas that we don’t really need and often struggle to decide what to buy for someone special who has everything, so this is a perfect way to spread some festive cheer.
