Christmas Tree Collection 2025

Bury Hospice's annual Christmas Tree Collection and recycling service returns once more at the end of the 2025 festive season. Save yourself the hassle of getting rid of your used Christmas Tree and use the most convenient Christmas Tree Collection service in Bury.

This Christmas tree recycling scheme helps to raise vital funds for Bury Hospice and the local community. We welcome a donation and in exchange we will collect your Christmas tree, take it away and recycle it for you. No hassle, no waste and no needles in your car!

All trees collected for the Bury Hospice Christmas Tree collection are recycled as they are chipped and either used at a local golf course or as green fuel.

What you need to know about this year's Collection

Our team of amazing volunteers will be collecting in your area on:

Friday 9th to Sunday 11th January 2026.
Registration closes on Monday 5th January 2026 at midnight.
Our collection of Christmas trees cover the following postcodes: BL0, BL8, BL9, M25, M26 & M45 - plus we will also pick up in Ainsworth and Bradley Fold.

We welcome a suggested donation of £20.00 but if you are in a position to give more, we greatly appreciate your generosity and support. Remember to remove any decorations, take the tree out of the pot (if it has one) or remove the base. We cannot remove or recycle these items.

Your tree must be ready to collect by 8am, please note we cannot guarantee what time your tree will be collected. Your tree must be left in a clear, unobstructed, and visible location on the path in front of your property. Due to Health and Safety policy our lovely volunteers are unable to, under any circumstances, enter your property (e.g. house, garden, gated driveway) or any confined or restricted space to access your tree.
