‘Bury Hospice Care Month’, runs right through the month of October.

As the Sunflower is the national symbol of hospice care and yellow is the colour of the Hospice Movement, we are asking everyone in the borough to think about what kind of yellow event they can hold  during Bury Hospice Care Month that will raise money to help care of people who really need our help.

If you are holding a yellow event, let us know and we will put it on our Facebook page and website.

It doesn’t have to be anything complicated, you could guess the number of yellow sweets in a jar, pay £1 to wear something yellow for the day or make and sell some buns with yellow icing!  Please also consider selling sunflower lapel pin badges for us.  If we sell 120 boxes, we will raise enough money to run the hospice for an entire day.

Whatever you do to support Bury Hospice during Bury Hospice Care Month, have fun and thank you so much for caring!
