Local Businesses Challenged To Compete in the 2023 Corporate Challenge

Bury Hospice is fortunate to have amazing support from the local community and businesses.

The hospice depends heavily on the funds raised through individual and corporate donations as it only gains 13% annual funding from the NHS.

It costs more than £4 million per year to run Bury Hospice, £3.5 million of which needs to be raised through the hospice’s retail shops, weekly lottery, and fundraising campaigns.

This year, Bury Hospice is calling on local businesses to go the extra mile in supporting its financial ability to provide the best support for patients, their families and carers experiencing palliative and end-of-life care.

Local businesses can now take part in the 2023 Corporate Challenge to help raise the vital required funds.

The Corporate Challenge sees local businesses compete against one another, using their fundraising and business skills to turn £50 self-funded seed money into as big a donation as possible.

Participating businesses have until the end of November to raise the funds and return with the initial seed money investment.

The ways of raising the funds are endless; your business could take on the challenge of hosting a quiz night, a sports competition, or an endurance challenge. The fundraising challenges are open for each organisation to decide upon.

The Corporate Challenge 2023 is a fantastic opportunity for Bury’s businesses to go head-to-head, demonstrating their team spirit, creativity, and entrepreneurial skills, whilst networking and raising vital funds for the hospice, in the process.
