“I was born in Manchester in 1947. After school I decided to go to art college where I obtained a diploma in graphic art and design. I really enjoyed my career and eventually went freelance running my own design and advertising business. I was fortunate to be able to retire at 57, giving me the opportunity to paint full time. I have always loved boats and water so many of my paintings feature harbour scenes.”
