It’s essential that we have as much information as possible about the donation because we cannot accept everything and we do not wish to waste anybody’s time in turning up to pick up an item that we would be unable to accept.

Before requesting a collection, please check that:

All of the items of furniture are in good condition, clean and complete – not torn or broken.
All individual items of upholstered/soft furniture have a fire label attached.
Any electrical goods that we are able to accept are in working order with no damaged wiring.
All glass items must have tempered glass and the relevant kite mark.

Unfortunately, due to waste restrictions and health & safety reasons, we are unable to collect:

Any large items that are damaged, broken or unsafe.
Anything that does not conform to Trading Standards.
Any upholstered/soft furniture items that do not have a fire label attached.
