Our valuable lottery members help to raise essential money for the Hospice.
The Bury Hospice Lottery, previously known as the Red Rose Lottery, was established back in 1994.
It currently has over 7,000 members who play each week with a chance of winning £1,000.
The lottery is an excellent income generator for Bury Hospice and players can make such a difference for only £1 a week.
Since its inception, our lottery members have been critical in ensuring the Hospice has a steady income stream, enabling us to provide vital care and support to our patients and their families.
Every ticket you buy helps provide compassionate care for people with life-limiting illnesses and their families.
Payment methods are cash, debit card, cheque, standing order and direct debit. Regular automated payment facilities can be set up by direct debit only.
You must be 18 years or over to play or claim a prize.
Our New Year raffle has just launched and it should have already arrived on the doorsteps of our supporters.
We are inviting everyone to support the work of the hospice by taking part in the raffle, giving you the chance to win fantastic cash prizes including a first prize of £2,024.
Last year, the Summer Raffle raised over £16,500. Every ticket you buy will enable us to continue to care for our patients and support their families when they need us most.
If you’re not on our mailing list and would like tickets, they are available to purchase in our charity shops situated in Bury town centre, Radcliffe, Prestwich and Ramsbottom or by calling the Supporter Care team on 0161 797 1748.
The closing date is Wednesday, March 13th and tickets will be drawn on Wednesday, March 27th.
The compassionate care and support we provide in our community is only made possible because of people like you who continuously support our services.
All of our services are provided free of charge but as a charity, we need to raise £4 million this year to fund its work with a 13% contribution from the NHS. We have a small team raising vital funds and that is why we value the support of the community so much.

We are currently running lottery recruitment campaigns with SEC Fundraising Ltd. Our lottery representatives are out and about, knocking on doors and visiting venues, to grow our membership of lottery players. We are confident that they will always uphold our fundraising integrity and will stop if you say “no” or if there is any worry over the vulnerability of the person they are speaking to.
