“Having taught Art all my working life, a job I loved I am now retired with lots of time to pursue my own work. I am an active full member of The Society of Women Artists exhibiting annually at the Mall Galleries London and winner of many notable awards. I am also a full member of Manchester Academy of Fine Art.

The work in the Bury Hospice exhibition was all executed in the first lockdown, it shows my combined passion for painting and my love of old vintage books. I hope that by rescuing these old once loved objects I have restored them to being objects that are both desired and loved again.”
