“I have always enjoyed painting and drawing. I studied A-level Art at school. However, it was only after my family grew up that I took up watercolour and that is now very much my favourite medium. I find it suits my way of working and my preferred subjects of flowers and landscapes. I belong to a local art group and have been on various painting courses both locally and further afield and this has given me the opportunity to explore different ways of working and also visit other areas of the country.”
