The Christie SACT and Phlebotomy Clinic

Bury Hospice is delighted to host The Christie twice a week, every Tuesday and Thursday as part of the SACT Outreach service bringing treatment closer to home.

SACT is the delivery of systemic anti-cancer therapy - this can be chemotherapy, immunotherapy, bisphosphonates or hormone treatment. Patients who wish to visit the phlebotomy clinic are required to book in advance by calling the SACT Outreach team or speaking to your team. Appointments are available between 9am and 1pm on Tuesday and Thursday.

The SACT treatment clinic is operational Tuesday and Thursday between 9am and 4pm.

On arrival to the main entrance to the Hospice at the front of the building, patients are asked to go first to the reception where they will either be directed straight to the room where the clinic is hosted, or to be seated within a waiting area until the clinic is ready for the next patient.

Please note there is limited parking within the main Hospice car park at the front of the building. However, any spaces that are available can be used by those who are visiting the SACT or Phlebotomy Clinic. Please do not use the disabled car parking spaces without a valid Blue Badge.

The Christie team run the clinic and patients should still liaise with the Christie regarding their treatment and any follow up appointments.
