Give It Up for Bury Hospice is a simple but powerful way to support local hospice care. By giving up something you don’t really need for the month of January and donating the money you save, you’ll be helping patients and families across Bury get the care, comfort and compassion they deserve. It doesn’t have to be dramatic. It just has to matter.

What will you give up?

Everyone’s January looks different, and that’s the beauty of Give It Up. Choose something that fits your lifestyle and turn it into a force for good.

You might decide to give up:

Smoking or vaping
Alcohol or nights out
Takeaways or coffees-to-go
Chocolate, sweets or snacks
Streaming services
Gaming or in-app purchases
Endless scrolling on social media
Swearing (harder than it sounds!)

Or maybe you’ll set yourself a personal challenge, fewer impulse buys, packed lunches instead of meal deals, or a no-spend January.
