Bury Hospice is delighted to be partnering with local businesses, organisations and volunteers once again to collect and recycle real Christmas trees in January 2027. By having your tree collected, you can make life a little easier after Christmas while helping to provide vital care and support to local people and their families when they need it most.
Registration opens on 15th November 2026 and closes on 4th January 2027.
Our Christmas Tree Collection will take place from Friday 8th to Sunday 10th January 2027.

We would welcome a donation as any donation, whatever the amount, can help make a difference. For example:
The Christmas Tree Collection is a wonderful community-led initiative, supported by local businesses who generously donate their time, people, vans and resources to make the collections possible. In previous years, an incredible team of waste management professionals and local volunteers have braved the January weather to collect over a thousand Christmas trees from homes across the borough.
The trees are chipped and put to good use, helping to give them a new purpose rather than simply going to waste, but most importantly, every tree collected helps raise vital funds for Bury Hospice.
Registration closes 4th January 2027.
Thank you for supporting Bury Hospice and for helping us continue to provide compassionate care to local people and their families.
From everyone at Bury Hospice, we wish you a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year!
