Halloween Rail Trail

Join us for a brand-new community event celebrating 35 incredible years of our hospice!

Get your best fancy dress ready and join us for a fun-filled, family-friendly 5-mile sponsored walk. Starting at Bury East Lancashire Railway Station at 5pm, we’ll make our way together to the Ramsbottom Station, enjoying the atmosphere, the costumes and the community spirit along the way. Once we reach Ramsbottom, we’ll hop aboard the train and travel back to Bury together, arriving at approximately 7:30pm.

Whether you’re walking with family, friends, colleagues or simply want to be part of something special, everyone is welcome, so get dressed up and get involved!

We’re asking every participant to aim to raise £35 in sponsorship to celebrate our 35th anniversary. Every pound raised will help us continue providing vital care, comfort and support to local people and their families when they need us most.

And for those fundraising superheroes who go the extra mile… our Super Fundraisers are anyone who raises £350 or more! As a special thank you, they’ll receive a pumpkin-picking voucher for Jersey Girls.

This is the very first year of our new event, and we’re hoping to bring together at least 200 people from across our local community.

By taking part and fundraising, you’ll be helping us celebrate 35 years of the hospice while raising much-needed funds for the work we do every day.
