The Sedgley Shop Turns One

Bury Hospice celebrates one year of its Sedgley based charity shop.

The shop in Bury New Road opened its doors last year, on 5th February 2024. It is one of seven traditional Bury Hospice shops located across the borough, and is open seven days a week.

Rachel Duncan, Retail Operations Manager at Bury Hospice, said: "It's Sedgley's first birthday, and we want to thank you for all the donations and custom over the past year.

"The shop has been well received by the community, and it's always great to see new and familiar faces come through the doors.”

"We hope to continue growing, with more sales, staff, and amazing volunteers from the local area.”
