Cyclist Paul Fox raises £600 for Bury Hospice
Local fundraiser and avid cyclist, Paul Fox has raised £600 for Bury Hospice.
Paul had an early 6.00am start on Thursday, 21 st September when setting off from Gigg Lane on the
104 mile route, riding through Bury, Warrington, Northwich, Congleton, and Knutsford, before
completing the route at Bury Hospice.
Family, friends, and staff members at Bury Hospice cheered Paul on when he crossed the finish line
after the intensive eight hour journey.
Paul is a keen fundraiser who says that he began raising funds with his son over a four-year period
(2015-2019), raising £37,000 for a total of 75 charities at the time.
He said: “Bury Hospice is important because it helps a lot of people in need, and it requires a lot of money to run.”
