Glaston-Bury shortlisted for I Love Manchester award.

A popular music festival that supports Bury Hospice has been shortlisted for an I Love Manchester award.

Glaston-Bury, a one-day family-friendly fundraising event, is nominated in the ‘Most-Loved Live Event Category’ this year.

The independent festival, (which has no links to Glastonbury Festivals plc), brings approximately 3,000 people to Bury each year. It has raised more than £250,000 for Bury Hospice and other local causes since it was established in 2008.

For more than a decade, the I Love Manchester Awards have championed local people, celebrating civic pride by promoting culture and community projects within the city.

Supporters of Bury Hospice have until Monday, 9th October to cast their votes. The winner of each category will be announced on Thursday, 23rd November at the live awards show held at DieCast Manchester.
